Blake Street Lofts Urban Escape

We're  really excited to show you the results of our latest project.

These amazing Blake Street penthouses came to us through a referral from a realtor friend. After a competitive bidding process with three other outstanding designers we were rewarded with the project.  We made a connection with the investors on the spot and immediately decided to move forward!
The lofts were built in 2008 with pretty basic, builder grade materials and had been well worn over the last six years.  Due to their amazing location and spectacular views we decided that these spaces could be truly exceptional.
We started by changing the  laminate floors to a stunning hand-scrapped engineered wood.  This subtle difference gives the space a uniquely sophisticated feel.
As you can see in the picture above, the great room has excellent natural light but very limited lighting options.  By adding a magnitude of recessed lights and custom sconces we created the opportunity to design custom illumination and mood setting for every occasion.

This one of a kind, Italian, fireplace lacked luster centered in a bare column with little interest.  We added polish and attraction to this beautiful conversation piece by stacking limestone over the expanse of the column. Not only adding to the life of the room but creating a space for a second sitting area or reading nook.

With little color and minimal points of interest the view from the kitchen left something to be desired.  We added one of a kind lighting fixers to compliment the modern metropolitan feel of the room. By adding a splash of color with a hushed teal paint we created depth and interest to this very large space.

This functional and convenient kitchen carries forward the beauty of the hardwood flooring and custom lighting.  With Viking appliance, built in wine fridge, and breathtaking city view this kitchen is every cooks dream.

This uninspiring, main floor, powder room was given a complete rejuvenation with floor to ceiling textured tile, chic lighting, distinctive vanity, and superb fixtures!

An updated paint pallet, soothing lighting, and professional staging make this office with a view an inspiring place to work from home.
As small spaces and landings can be difficult to visualize and make a practical part of any home, we added bright lighting and low profile furniture to add character and utility to this second floor alcove.
This loft style master bedroom is brought to life with elegant grey carpet and warm paint.  Adding the texture and fullness of a polished bed make the bedroom both cozy and modern.

This master bath take luxury to a new level with a spa tub, opulent shower system and extravagant gentlemen's closet.  No need to bump elbows in this expansive master getaway.
Along with updated paint and flooring each of the bedrooms have been fitted with top-of-the-line unparalleled closets designed and installed by Closet Factory. With adjustable spotlight lights and space for every piece of your wardrobe these closets will keep you organized and looking your best.

I would love to make one of these AMAZING lofts my new home! Wouldn't you?
